Lullabies, berceuses, and nocturnes were beautifully created for centuries and had been a huge part of human development that can be traced back as early as infancy and act as universal doorway towards an endless pool of emotions, roads of adventures and a whole new world of imagination.

Here is a list of our favorite classical Lullabies that defined the classical musical sphere for centuries:

Richard Strauss' Wiegenlied Op. 41, No. 1
The melody is beautifully unique due to its directness and simplicity and yet it never fails to deeply move the listeners.

Johannes Brahms' Wiegenlied Op. 49, No. 4
This lullaby is authentic and sophisticated and was inspired by Bertha Faber. Brahm intended to disclose his feelings towards her through this composition.

Franz Schubert's Wiegenlied D. 498
Schubert masterfully crafted a delightful melody which actually relates to the demise of a child and yet expresses gratitude towards the value of life no matter how short it may be.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Wiegenlied K. 350
Can be described as simple, yet hauntingly beautiful. This lullaby became a favorite worldwide ever since it was created.

Felix Mendelssohn’s Wiegenlied Op 67, No. 6
Mendelssohn was an underrated musical genius that composed some of the most cherished lullabies in history.

Frederic Chopin's Berceuse Op. 57
This berceuse is a calm bass shaping with its graceful notes and steady flow.

These amazing Lullabies truly captured our hearts and had challenged our imaginations. They are soothingly calm, beautiful escapes and eloquently expressed, truly a gift to our senses!
