"The Magic Flute” the unusual romantic opera  by mozart

With Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart collaborating with Emanuel Schikaneder who created the German libretto and Schikaneder's theatrical group, expect an explosive operatic masterpiece!

"The Magic Flute” is a two-act opera and considered to be a “Singspiel,” a classification of German music drama that includes both songs and spoken dialogue.

It is a culmination of diverse orchestral colors, a testimony of Mozart's brilliance- the bells, the whistle, the trombones, the range of vocal lines, the ensemble casts, the visual feasts put together in an astonishing dramatic stroke of musical elegance, lavishness and somewhat paradoxical work.

It is about Tamino and Pamina's touching romance, somewhat of a magic show, a portrait of a spiritual journey with a healthy dosage of farcical comedy.

Due to its successful performance, the opera had witnessed triumphant progress through all major German Opera houses and eventually spread all across Europe and the world!

"Madama Butterfly" a Magnificently crafted piece by Giacomo Puccini.

“Madama Butterfly” is an iconic three-act opera created by Giacomo Puccini. It is a gripping masterpiece accompanied by an Italian libretto in collaboration with Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica.

The opera had taken its inspiration from “Madame Butterfly” a short story by John Luther Long written in 1898 which he based on “Madame Chrysanthème,” a French novel by Pierre Loti.

“Madama Butterfly” is as an emotional roller coaster. It is a story of a U.S. naval officer named Pinkerton who married Cio-Cio-san (from the Japanese word for “Butterfly”) and how he abandoned her and their child for many years only to be further betrayed by marrying an American woman, a sample of grappling story of exploitation and Orientalism, moral cowardice and remorse which led to sorrow and death.

Puccini had created an unapologetically orchestral beauty that honor stories of Madama Butterflies in our society. It became so successful and had been adapted in movies, theater and television.

THE TREMENDOUS ACHIEVEMENT OF THE "PHANTOM OF THE OPERA"

One of the most remarkably successful operas of all time, "The Phantom of the Opera" is a masterpiece of Andrew Lloyd Webber with the collaborative efforts of Richard Stilgoe who crafted most of the original lyrics, then eventually re-written by Charles Hart. It is based on a French novel of the same title written by Gaston Leroux.

The story line is unusually encompassing with an intriguing blend of mystique and timelessness. It narrates Christine Daaé, a gorgeous budding soprano who finds herself in the fixation of the "Phantom", who is considered to be an “angel of music” yet resembling that of the devil. Lloyd Webber has successfully evoked the Phantom's deeper human emotions, a desperate longing for society's acceptance albeit his uncannily dangerous character that the audience will find themselves empathetic with his sufferings.

The musical score is a phenomenal success with multiple awards including "The Best Musical", translated to various languages and produced in more than 28 countries.
