Considered to be one of the most performed and highly acclaimed choral works in the Western music repertoire, "Messiah" is a collaborative masterpiece of George Frideric Handel and Charles Jennens.

This infamous English oratorio was crafted in 1741 by Handel who did the instrumentals, orchestrations and vocals while Jennens did the compilation of the the scriptural texts.

"Messiah” is an exemplar oratorio that narrated the sacred journey of Christ from birth, sacrifice until His resurrection. There were mixed emotions during its earlier days until multiple revisions followed. Eventually, it received massive financial success and even staged to a lot of places worldwide until it became a cultural musical piece.

Because of its memorable impact, there were a lot of documented re-compositions and adaptations, and still is a significant masterpiece, an apparent trademark of Handel that is hard to forget.

Originally titled “Leonore” or “The Triumph of Marital Love”, “Fidelio” is a product of patience and perseverance against all the years that it has been shelved and yet, a memorable opera crafted by the legendary Ludwig van Beethoven.

It started with three separate versions. With the help of Georg Friedrich Treitschke who worked further on the libretto, the final version was created and saw the light on May, 1814, eventually “Fidelio” was attributed permanently and finally accomplished its long overdue success and became prominent all across the world.

“Fidelio” despite being a flawed musical opera is a unique love story depicting the triumph despite all the evil plots, celebrating the power and victory of love! It is a superficial masterpiece, exuding the depth and maturity of Ludwig van Beethoven when it comes to plotting an immense emotional rollercoaster musical drama which opera aficionados truly love.
