“She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain” is a popular song that has has several interesting stories.

It is said to be a traditional American folk song classified as a part of children’s music due to its repetitive lines and melody.Others will say it is in reference to “the Second Coming” of Jesus Christ although it remains to be a speculation. While some coded the hymn of the workers associated with the “Underground Railroad system.”.

Nevertheless, it is joyfully performed by both adults and children even up to now in campfires and sing-alongs because of its enthusiastic and perky beat.

About “Piano Concerto No. 1” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky

“Piano Concerto No. 1” is a legendary composition created and immortalized by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

This masterpiece was composed between November (1874) and February (1875), revised twice in 1879 and 1888 and was heavily criticized by Nikolai Rubinstein. Despite of the harsh feedback, Pyotr blatantly refused to alter the concerto and with great determination instead, he personally endorsed his composition and was then fully supported by Hans von Bülow.

It was in Boston when “Piano Concerto No. 1” made its debut on October, 1875 performed by Hans von Bülow. The audience reaction was overwhelming, which led to a repeat performance later and eventually multiple concerts were held across America and Europe leading to its worldwide popularity.

The success of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's “Piano Concerto No. 1” is still evident as it celebrated its 144th year this 2019 since its premiere!

“Rockin' Robin” is a fantastic song with its ridiculously captivating "twiddly-diddly-dee” that rocked the music industry ever since its conceptualization.

This song can be traced back to have been created by Leon René, using Jimmie Thomas as his pseudonym.

It was on 1958 when Bobby Day collaborated with this former group “Hollywood Flames" together with the infamous saxophone player, Plas Johnson came out with the unique version of “Rockin’ Robin” that soon became so popular in the music industry. In fact, legendary Michael Jackson (from Jackson 5) published his rendition which became his jewel in the crown on his road to his successful solo career afterwards.

One interesting fact about "Rockin Robin" is that despite of being an original recording, it remains to be a public domain until now, free of public use with no copyrights renewed nor royalties to be paid.
