This opera's libretto was said to be a “Dramma giocoso”, a genre of a mixture of comedy and serious action. It was distinctly created in a combination of drama, elegance, deviations of emotions and even vindication expressed powerfully through dance and music albeit the insightful and unsettling character of philandering "Don Giovanni".
Mozart's brilliance resounded all throughout the performance making the opera highly-acclaimed in fact, widely regarded as a part of his best creations not to mention as one of the greatest operas of all time.
“Don Giovanni” has sparked interests and even became an inspiration to other famous philosophers and writers leading to amazing versions after its premiere.
